MATER DOLOROSA
Our Lady of Sorrows
At the foot of the Cross stood Mary, the Mother of Jesus (John 19:25). Our Lady of Sorrows is the Blessed Virgin who shared, with a mother’s heart, in every moment of her Son’s suffering, from the prophecy of Simeon to the silence of the tomb.
This sanctuary is dedicated to her alone: to meditating on her sorrows, consoling her Immaculate Heart and remaining, like her, faithful to Jesus Christ.
